Happy Homemaker Monday 4.11.2016

Happy Homemaker Monday 4.11.2016

Good Morning, Monday came so fast!

We had a busy but blessed weekend. Both our kiddos are dealing with head colds, but they are troopers, they got up and ready and off to school. Me and Hubby are the ones asking do you want to stay home? and we always get the same answer NO I have to go to school. love that! but secretly (or not) I really want to keep them home.

Our daughter has been crazy busy with school, up early so she can be at school extra early, staying late, then coming home and staying up very late doing homework. She was voted in and inducted Vice President of NHS, was on prom committee with Class Officers, and attended her Jr. Prom. Our Son was nominated and chosen to join the AVID program so we will be attending meeting tomorrow. Along with all our other appointments looks like another busy week, but its all good, and for this I am grateful.

  1. Love your verse this week, one of my favorites :) Must be some late sick bugs flying around, my oldest is sick as well. I let him stay home today as he was up pretty much all night. Congrats on your daughter's VP position. Sounds very busy over there. It's not too bad around here yet but I know May is coming and along with it all the end of the school year activities plus a birthday for one of mine. Hope you have a great week!

Love your homemaking tip…easy to forget with all our mundane tasks, but we can see it while we enjoy all these wonderful memories as our kids continue to grow.

    1. Hi Annie, I am happy to say both kiddos are better! :::Exhale::: whew! I am so looking forward to being a God Mother, We visit him and his family and it seems like months have gone by not days or weeks, he is growing so fast. I Love, Love, Love holding babies and I want it to last longer. My daughter has long thick hair like her momma, I will say this is the first year my hair has not grown back since I've cut it. (got a bob) it use to take a year and it would be back to my waist but now its only past my shoulders...yup I'm getting older. why do Men get better??? not fair.
