Happy Homemaker Monday

The Weather...
Beautiful Morning our high will be 99 and the only day not in triple digits. I don't think I will ever get used to this Texas heat.
On my reading pile...

  Daily Bible studies with
Plan Live Love & Starting Ecclesiastes with Women Living Well

Debbie Macomber - Hannah's list
I haven't read a book by her I didn't like

Laura Ingalls Wilder - Farmer Boy
I've lost count how many times I've read this one, but this is our second copy as we have worn out the last. although my son will never admit it anymore but he loves this book. when he was little he would say "its a cozy book" and I know exactly what he means.

Beverly Lewis - The Shunning
This is a new author and also type of series for me. I have always been curious about these types of stories (Amish) I picked this one and another during a book sale at a local library benefitting the book store we frequent. I am so glad I did I am loving it so far.

On my TV...

Me and My daughter had a girls night and watched Pretty in Pink
My son has been watching Jurassic park movies
I'm watching Everybody loves Raymond

On the menu for this week...

Monday -  BBQ Meat, Hot dogs & sides
Tuesday -  leftovers
Wednesday - Carnitas, rice, beans
Thursday - Baked Ziti, salad, garlic bread
Friday -  c/p meal smothered pork chops, green beans, salad,

Sunday  - Eat Out: Fathers Day

On my to do list...

Windex.
Sweep & Mop Floors

What I am sewing, crocheting, knitting or creating...
Playing in Planner.

Looking around the house...

Didn't I just do these dishes? other than that typical Monday not bad. but always something to do.

From the camera... someone got a haircut

On my prayer list... usual, unspoken, and for Orlando

Bible verse, Devotional...

  2. Sorry your weekend went to a migraine but glad you are feeling better. I haven't see Pretty in Pink in years, is it on Netflix? I doubt I'd get my teenage son to watch that one though...Hope you have a wonderful week!

    1. You never know Jean, It's no longer on Netflix but I think 16 candles is. You can find most of them at target for around $5-10 Thank you for stopping by. let me know if you watch any. I think out of all of them you would have more luck with the Breakfast Club.

  3. I loved Hannah's List. I hope you enjoy it too.

I know what you mean - I HATE Texas summers. The heat wouldn't be so bad if we get rid of the humidity!

    Have a great week.

  4. I just read, 'You before me' then my husband and I went and saw it at the theater. Of course the book is always more detailed than the movie, but the movie did a great job following the book. Sorry about the migraines man those are never fun - I'm not sure what happened to our heat, it went from blazing hot, to cool down to windy and cold - I can do with out the blazing hot but I would enjoy some nice low 80 temps.
    Have a good week
