Happy Homemaker Monday 3.21.16

Happy Homemaker Monday

This week seemed to fly by. I just sent the family off, back to work and school. I love having my family on break but also enjoy the quiet of an empty house in the mornings, and getting things done with not one interruption.

HHM...

The Weather...  cool 48 degrees

Right Now I Am... After the routine of morning, I find myself trying to stay awake.

Thinking... I had such a great two weeks of Spring break with my family, although we didn't go to California and our favorite place: Disneyland. We had A lot of fun. We got out a lot, played a lot, laughed a lot, talked a lot, cuddled a lot and My Lord we ate a lot! key word: A Lot : )

On My T.V...  Happy Town on Netflix

On The Menu...
M- Spaghetti, Garlic Bread, Green Salad
T- Enchiladas, Rice, Beans
W- 8 Can Soup, Corn Bread
T- Chicken Parmesan, Corn, Green Salad, Bread
F- Steaks, Green Beans, Baked Potato, Bread with butter
S- Dinner out to celebrate my way overdue Confirmation
S- Easter Dinner at G's (cant wait) tons of food as usual but all I can think about is the Spiral Ham!

On My To Do List...
Wash all Sheets
Sweep
Vacuum
Dust
Windex
Bathrooms

Looking Forward To... Easter and Easter Vigil on Saturday because I will finally make my Confirmation. Long story short when My parents divorced I never finished my classes and It has been something I had put off for too long, and gave up to easy when Church was not offering at the right time (for me) or classes were full, Whatever the reason. I stuck to my guns and basically begged for them to make room for me. I am so glad I did because shortly afterwards a friend blessed myself and hubby by asking us to be God Parents!

Looking Around House... Other than dishes from Breakfast it's Tidy. So glad I did my evening routine last night, because I usually skip it on Sundays.

From The Camera... On St. Patrick's Day we enjoyed lunch at one of my favorite Places: Cracker Barrel YUM.

On My Prayer List.... Family and RCIA Class

Devotional...
"Fear Not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God."
                                                                                      -Isaiah 41:10

  2. Rowana, you have a beautiful name too! I am so happy for your upcoming Confirmation. I went through RCIA and came into full communion with RCC at Easter Vigil 2010. I'll be praying for you.

I so identify with your "Looking around."

  5. We haven't made ANY Easter plans. :sigh: My kids are visiting family this week, but my step-kids will be with us this weekend. Perhaps a ham? Oh, I'll get them chocolate bunnies! (Not that that is what Easter TRULY is about...) Anyway, Cracker Barrel...It's been FOREVER since I've been there. We finally got one in the city, but I can't justify driving over 2 hours for it when there's great restaurants much closer. Congrats on the confirmation!
