  2. Great post! Vinyl certainly has made a comeback, hasn't it? My Mum made a chunky blanket with needles similar to those; I can still remember the clacking noise they made while she was knitting. Have a great rest of the week and Happy Valentine's Day!

  3. Hello dear friend!
    Happy Valentine's Day to you!!!!!
I love love love Little House!
My favorites are the ones when both Laura and Nellie are wanting to catch the eye of Almanzo!!!!!
And one other...it makes me sad...but now I get it.
It was when Laura was pregnant with her baby, and Ma went to Doc Baker's too, thinking she was also pregnant. She was so happy! But then Doc told her she wasn't. It was the beginning of the Change. She was sooo sad. But Charles took her away to help.
    Anyway, Have a lovely evening!!!!!

  7. Hi Row, yes; the world needs less ornery Mrs. Olson's! I'm happy to say that I am not one of them. lol! It has been ages since I've watched, but now I want to binge watch it as well. I am doing some redwork stitching. Good time for binging! Loved reading this. Sorry that I can't follow. For about 6 months now when ever I try google won't let me. Says OOPs, something went wrong. Crazy!! I don't know how to fix it.
    hugs,
    Jann

  8. Hi Row! So nice to have you back and that you must be feeling better! I hope you had a wonderful Valentine's. ;)

I LOVE Little House and read all of the books when I was young and have seen every episode - and with reruns even multiple times! I always loved the Christmas episodes. And I think my favorite of all time was when Laura became a teacher and Almanzo would drive her on the weekends (I think it was a 2-parter). Loved that one. ;)

Your menu sounds SO yummy!! Love catching up with you dear Friend and our time on insta too. Lol!

Blessings on the weekend ahead. xoxo

    1. Hi Carrie! Yes Thank God I am feeling better, it had me down for about a week. I still read the little house books, especially during winter, probably because they make me feel so cozy. Hope you enjoy the rest of your week... See ya on IG : )

  9. Your menu sounds delicious! I love Olive Garden! The all you can eat salad is my favorite! :) I also love Little House and have watched all the episodes. I am not sure which one is my favorite..? I haven't watched it in a while though. We only have Netflix and it isn't on there. If it were, I am sure we would be watching it from time to time! :)

I hope you won't take offense...but may I recommend something? Please be cautious of the Jesus Calling book. The author claims she writes as God leads her...but nowadays we have God's Word and that is sufficient. To declare something you write is absolutely from the Lord is something that should be looked at and discerned very carefully. I hope you don't take this as me speaking unkindly. I would be happy to share links or discuss it with you if you want! Here's my email: thecountryblossom at hotmail dot com
I only say that out of love and concern. For example, if I see anyone reading books by Joyce Meyer, Joel Osteen and the like, I raise the red flags as well. Truly out of love! :o)

Thank you so much for your lovely comment on my blog and for following me on IG! So, so thoughtful of you! I Hope you have a lovely Friday!

    Warmly,
    Katy
