Happy Homemaker Monday (on a Tuesday)
8.1.2016

Linking up with Sandra from Diary Of A Stay At Home Mom http://familycorner.blogspot.com/

The time got away from me yesterday and I forgot to publish. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. we spent ours getting ready for back to school and spending time as a family before all the day to day and school activities kick in. This is the last back to school photo my kiddos will be taking since its My daughters senior year.

The Weather...
Cooler temps YES! right now its 79 degrees I do see some 100's in the forecast but I hope it continues to stay cool.
I am SO ready for fall! I am one of those crazy for fall people, I am ready to decorate on Aug. 1 every year!  I am trying to hold out till the 22nd so I have two full months to enjoy it before Halloween. and then DUN DUN DUN Christmas kicks in.

What I am sewing, crocheting, knitting or creating...
Not Much... Behind in my Planner.
Thinking about picking up Crochet Needles  but haven't yet.

Looking around the house...
Picked up and so quiet with my kiddos back in school
Dogs cozy and napping
A box of Hostess Cupcakes are calling to me : )

From the camera...
My Daughter was in Austin for her Robotics Competition, We got to watch it live online. She updated us with texts daily.

I Love the photo below because my daughter was "speaking her mind" to the refs  lol
I asked her about it and she told me
"Something had to be said but nobody wanted to say it, So I did."
I like it because she will always sick up for other kids but for herself she  is usually quiet and lets most things go, she is learning to be more vocal in that sense, and I am proud of her for it.

We attended the Harry Potter midnight Release party at Barns and Noble. So Fun! I Loved all the events but especially the costume contest.  Here are a few photos of my favorites...

On my prayer list...
My usual family Prayers
& Prayers for some my online buddies

  1. I LOVE it!! You such a Gal after my own heart. Between loving Fall and trying to control yourself not going there - to having a daughter that has done robotics (I have an almost 5th grader that was into it) - and finally to your Harry Potter love!

I've been pinning a few Fall things on pinterest and I have picked up one Fall magazine to gaze over...but that's as far as I've let it go for now. But soon my Friend we can fully embrace it! Lol

    Blessings. xoxo
